How to Avoid Revealing My Theme Sources to Clients

Okay, here's what I want to do.

I want to show clients different themes they can purchase and I would then modify them for a fee. The cost of the template is included in the price.

I would then purchase the template from the designer and begin customizing it to the clients taste.

However, I do not want the client to know where I'm getting the themes from, yet I still want to be able to show them a working example.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Thanks.

You could create some subdomains to show off different themes. When the day comes I have an actual client, that's what I would do

yep, if u want to show them a live demo of the themes without revealing the source you're gonna have to have the theme in your possession and installed on your own turf

You could do as said above and only have the site on your laptop to show them or password protect the site and only open it up for them while you are there and only on your laptop so they can't get around the log-in through caching.

I'd be delicate about something like that. If the client catches any whiff of trying to hide something, I'm guessing you'd probably lose them. Plus, you don't won't to rush them to make a decision (you're not going to leave your lapop with them). If they want to think about it for a few days and go to the sites from their computer, they should be able to.
