| I'm thinking of getting OptimizePress but still on the fence about the decision. One thing I would like to know is whether the CSS for it can be easily customized or altered. I think the main reason I am considering using it is for things like the membership functions it offers and some of its other functions. I think it may save me a lot of time setting up things like auto responders and membership functions etc. So I guess what I'm asking is whether anyone else is using OptimizePress and what their experience with it has been. Does it live up to its claims. Also I see that OptimizePress is designed to work with "pages' Can you still use "post' in order to take advantage of the SEO aspect of a Blog? |

if the problem is changing css easily and if they don't have css changing option just install this plugin: wordpress dot com/extend/plugins/my-custom-css WordPress › My Custom CSS « WordPress Plugins[/url] it gives you ability to add you custom css code to change the look of your site. if you dont have technical css coding skills so thats a bit bigger problem than.

I've worked with Optimizepress once before on a client site. From my experience; the site is designed to look like it is out of the box - I had to work in some of the template files in order to get certain pages to look like the client wanted - I ended up removing the optimizepress header and replacing it with my own. You can edit the CSS, browse via FTP to the theme directory and customise from there. Personally I stay away from editing files from the admin panel with an editor. Yes you can use it like a normal blog too, the site I worked on uses both pages and blog functionality. On another note, somebody who I'm subscribed to uses Optimizepress for both blog & pages - take a look: Lee Hayward's Total Fitness Bodybuilding |
