WEB DESIGN

I just set up a new weblog with blog.com
I am using the Mentawai theme
I am figuring out how to customize the layout and formatting as I go, but one item keeps eluding me: Does anyone know how to change the format of the date on each post? It is in the 10/06/2012 style for June 10, 2012. This is throwing off my readers. I would like it to show up as 06/10/2012 or June 10, 2012

I am not familiar with the CSS language at all. But customizing the CSS on the template is an option. Anyone have a helpful suggestion? Thanks for reading this post.

  Thank you for your helpful response... in order to insert this code for the date format I wanted, how can a person tell where to put it? I looked at the CSS page and the only thing that looked like it might pertain to the date is this:
  
  /* Blog.com */ #wp-calendar tbody td { background: none; border: none; } #wp-calendar tbody td a { font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;
  
  Does it look like I am on the right track? Do I just put it in there and then the format is changed? ?

You can edit the PHP files to edit the time and set formats.

Do you not have the option in WP admin.

Click Genreral on the left hand pane
Date Format <--- format your date
