A couple of questions, main concern is about a forums affect on site content.

Hello everyone, I been searching through here for years but just joined.

My site is bootcamp4me.com

I have a few questions.

1. My site has about 70 real pages. I also have a forum with thousands of threads. So does the forum take any "power" from the site?

Im not sure if I explaining it right, Im scared of my site getting diluted.

I do not include the forum in the sitemap.xml that I have but the VBSEO program that the forum has automatically submits one to the search engines (and works great).

Am I worried for nothing?

2. I just took my whole site off wordpress and made it HTML. (framework was bought, I just messed with it)

I did this because I didnt like not having control over certain things. Like scripts that were not needed on certain pages still having to be loaded and over stuff.

But do you guys notice anything that I could be doing better?

Like I said, I took the site to straight HTML, so I might have forgot some things here and there..

Im still trying to figure out how I can compress my css files and js files to make them 1 or at least smaller.... but when I do I usually break everything lol

Im not a programmer/designer/coder by any means... just trying out what I learned on youtube lol
