    You may want to be more specific.

    I think of it this way - the theme is the layout (and many (but not all) themes are flexible with layout options. It sounds like you mean that you want specific functionality and that is typically an add-on to th etheme. Some themes have built-in functions such as ecommerce or a directory - but most do not.

    So, write down exactly what you want your site to do. That will make it easier for someone to refer you to a theme and/or add-on or to quote a cost to make that for you.
