Free hosting and free domain name

I was wondering what are your recommendations in this area. Is it possible to get a higher raking with freebies even though income would be generated from AdSense through increased traffic and ad placement?

Is it worth starting like that?

Need some advice, please.

    I don't know why anyone would consider free hosting. Real hosting starts at like $5 a month and comes with all the options you need make a powerful site.

    Dreamhost has a very good reputation. I host a few sites through them, and recommend them to many people. It's a little more expensive than the Godaddy deal above, but the servers are really fast.

    You can get your domain name right at Dreamhost. The first one is free if you host with them, otherwise it is $10.

    I wouldn't go with free hosting. There are so many deals that you can get with Domains hostings. Its really really hard to get a good domains under .com. I would suggest you to look at my website. I made it with Global Domains. (.ws) and with the domains hosting you get to be part of making an income.

    I can recommend Midphase. Their hosting starts at $2.95 a month.

    The problem with free hosting and domain registration is that you can easily lose control of your domain name, support is non existent, and people find that ad supported free hosting is very amateur. With regular hosting so cheap these days it does not pay to go for the free options.
