Is There A Good Free Alternative To Frontpage

Hi Warriors,

I just wondered if anyone know if there is a good alternative to Microsoft Frontpage, hopefully free or fairly inexpensive as I see it can cost arounf $200.

I had it on my last computer but when I changed computers it was not included in my new package.

Any help greatly appreciated.

    Frontpage is crap for a lot of reasons.

    Komposer is probably the best option but there are lots more.

    Front page is now ignored by maximum number of designer ,you can use aptana ,but it is my choice not suggestion,my suggestion is go advance.

      Actually there is a FREE and better alternative to Frontpage. and it's made by Microsoft. It's called Visual Web Developer and it is an extremely powerful IDE It's only down side is that there is no native support for PHP because it was originally designed to work with Microsoft technologies like C# and VB.net and also C and C++ also ASP and MSSQL and other SQL flavors.

      Frankly VWD is by far my favorite IDE. There is a plugin for to support PHP but it cost $100 and honestly I'm tempted to get it. Also I know the transition from one software like FP to anything else is a pain in the butt but if you watch a few Youtube videos it should be pretty easy to pick up.

      Oh and like I said it's FREE just Google Visual Web Developer Express Edition download.

    If you know Frontpage then you will must love Microsoft Expression Web!! And maybe we can say it an alternative!!
