how do i make a forum and put it into my website?

im creating a website for my users to to be able to post new threads and talk with each other like this website. Any suggestions?

    Yeah, there are a few options:

    What you definitively need is: A host which runs PHP and MySQL

    Hard but cheap: Write a forum script yourself
    Easy but costs: use vBulletin forum software. Pretty popular
    Easy and free: use free software like phpBB

    Pick your poison.

    PHPBB is probably the most used (free) and have lots of themes and mods you can download for free. Getting around the admin section takes awhile to get use to and learn. I would suggest take your time to learn it or find someone to build your forum site. Learning it yourself will pay in the long run.

    Maybe you can try SMF forum ^^! (Free)
    and easy to use , now have 2 plate form (1.x and 2.x)

    2 way for make it work.

    1. use ftp transfer file and install it
    2. use Fantastico option for install your website

    you can easily use any forum with any website, install the forum to a different directory and name is forum. then your forum will be www.yoursite.com/forum

    Registering a site with forum may be taking a lot of space. As usual we should see where we can get the MS Sql database provider to host. My experience with XnYnz.com who has been providing MS Sql to launch a forum, has been wonderful.
