Please enlighten me on this - Using different fonts

Greetings Warriors,

I just need to be clarified.

For example, I use a downloaded font family in my codes. I have installed that mentioned font family in my computer. How about for the other people who will view my page and don't have that font family? Can they still view it the way I am seeing it?

Code:
<font color="#002c3f" size="7" face="Monotype Corsiva"><strong>How May We Be Of Help?</strong></font>
I used Monotype Corsiva.

Please share your thoughts on this.

All The Best,
G.B.

It is possible to embed a font with the web page . It is possible but not necessarily simple or easy to do . You can find articles on embedding fonts in web pages. just do a Google search. Frankly I have never found the situation that would cause me to go to that much trouble.

If you were designing in Flash it would be a simple matter but Flash is not a good medium to design web pages in. "0" zero SEO value.

You need to have a copy of the font in your root folder. This way people without the font can load it through their browser. Yes, it can be done. No, it's not gonna do that right now.

Thanks man, I am doing a research on how to do that.

If you can give me the steps, that would be very much appreciated.

Anyway, this input is so valuable already.

I think for that one, other people can see the right font that you use.
Either way, if it doesn't work Google is the solution for that one

This should do you just fine:

html - How to add some non-standard font to a website? - Stack Overflow

I'm assuming you're using CSS 2.0 which is what you'll find on that page. Hope it helps! Not too complicated
