Hi Everybody,
I wanted host my site locally since it costless.I downloaded,installed and created my database on wamp server and everything was running perfect because I can log into my PHPMYADMIN at anytime.
Secondly,I downloaded the wordpress,extract it and configure the php sample of the wordpress.
The name of the database is wordpress;database's username is root and database password was backspace.
After all this,I tried to log into my wp-admin but it always reply me that the requested url above was found(404 Not Found).Please how do I fix this?help.

1. A locally developed WP sites is seen ONLY by you. It is good to experiment but nobody else will see it ever.

2. Without a domain name we cannot see your site.

3. Don't try to be a smarta$$... buy a normal hosting, since you have no idea what hosting is. Don't save on this: your ISP may kick you out faster than you think.

Go for free hosting service. Try googleing and you will find numbers of free hosting sites. It is free of cost just they will show there advertisement at the bottom of your page.

  If you are setting up your site locally on your machine then only you will be able to see it. Unless you have setup your machine to be a web server.
  
  This is a whole new kettle of fish and is quite complex to go in to. And it might not even be possible on you ISP. It would be muh easier for you to get hosting and a domain name and upload your site to your hosts server.
  
  If you want to see your site on you machine then navigate to localhost/your sites relative address. This is how we develop server side code before we upload it to a real online server. However only you or your network can see this.

I would also suggest you start learning more about hosting and all things related to hosting so you can get a better understanding of what it actually is and how it works. Google will help you with that.
