Great WP Themes

Normally I don't pass along info like this as it just creates more competition but...

For $40 elegantthemes.com has a huge selection, that's $40 for a year for any theme unlimited DLs AND support. They have really saved my butt on a number of occasions and often let me sell sites priced at 1k which I can customize and turn out fairly quickly.

Check them out, the coding is decent and they are easy to work with. Support is not instant but for the price I hardly expect it to be. Also no auto update via WP, you have to do it manually

I am not affiliated with them in any way.

Anyone else have any good recommendations for low cost professional WP themes?

I have been using TemplatesSold themes and they are difficult to install correctly and a little more expensive.

Elegant Themes is awesome, I use them also and I've found they generally I can find a theme for just about any project I'm working on, I'll definitely second that

I prefer to create a child theme and modify the theme according my purposes

Get Thesis.

Thesis 2 is going to be coming out in a few months and I bet the price will skyrocket. I've been listening to Chris Pearson and it's going to be absolutely huge.

yes thesis themes is very good premium template .fast loading , minimal and seo friendly. My suggestion is thesis theme and genesis theme.

Elegant themes is pretty decent, the only problem is that they are so stylized that you have to kind of do a lot in order to help separate your site from other users who use them. But for the price I think it's a great deal.

I have many different themes that I use dependant upon the site. I own OptimizePress, Flexsqueeze, Thesis and I am also a member of Elegant themes. They do have some very nice, ready to go themes.

I like the first three mentioned as I am able to customize them for my needs.

Honestly, I don't like Elegant Themes very much.

For Wordpress, the best FREE theme that I used is probably Jules Joffrin.

Really clean to customize and modify.

I've been using Thesis almost since it came out.
I do have a Dev. lic.

I just wanted to say, I can't wait, but I've been hearing this in emails
from Chris for over a year. I'll believe it when I see it.

On the other hand, v1.8.5 works just fine and a new
version will just be more to learn.

Lol, yeah, I have been hearing it for a while.

He said it was finished yesterday on Twitter. It's going into Beta now and should be ready sometime in August if everything goes smooth.

Squeeze page , landing page , membership site , optin forms, action button and much more.....all very easy to use drag and drop style, a lot of graphics too and template , great navigation and fast loading. you can check out my blog here http://frankmoreno.com you will find a link to the main site ,make sure you check the video it's amazing ! and show what you can do with the theme. It's cheaper than most of the premium theme and support ( i use this theme in various blog since 3 years ) is fast nad reliable.

This is a not so great.

I just bought a WP theme from Template Monster for a client.
It is a very complex theme that came with very little
documentation.

Uploading was nuts.

Then I had a problem with the link structure.
Support had no idea and told me it was my hosting
company that was messing it up. LOL!

I finally figured out that in the database dump they
had set up the permalinks wrong for the site.
Changed that after 2 days of digging and got it working.

Great template, great price, just needs more documentation.

yeah...elegantthemes are ok but personally I prefer Genesis, Thesis, Themeforest (exactly in this order) and just after those 3 maybe I'll consider using a theme from elegantthemes which like I said are very nice and also they offer a very good price but they still have a lot of work to do if they want to be at the same level as Genesis for example.

I hope Theme Forest has agood variety of Wordpress themes. They charge around $35 for each template. Sometimes you get a free file of a month.
