Plugin in the sidebar

I downloaded a brill plugin called IQ Testimonials which I've been using in my footer. I input some recent customer testimonials and it works great. But I would like to have it on my sidebar as well, for more exposure. My sidebar looked like this before I deleted the sidebar.php from the editor. Now I would like to input some code which would activate the widget. I am using a lite version of my current theme and don't have the $45 to buy the premium version (believe me I would) where this area is widgetized. I know some of you code geniuses can write me something that would activate the plugin/widget in my sidebar. I could just let it be like it is now but having customer testimonials up there would be brilliantly for my conversion rate.

If this task expects a prolonged coding session, tell me

Thanks!
