WEB DESIGN

Hi,

I am a newbie and want to create a website about my passion which is anime. I do not know much about website development but I know a great deal about anime and manga. I am willing to provide great quality content about anime and manga along with anime streaming. My question is I see a lot of sites already doing it, so is it already too crowded to make another anime site? How much profitable are those sites now?Would you kindly also tell me what are my chances of getting in the top 10 of google and how much time and effort will be required? Thanks, would really appreciate your advice and suggestions.

digia it's like anything in life think about it. Do people open car-washing stations? do people open mcdonald franchises? do people open kiosks? all of the above are crowded to the bone but people still are opening new places.

if people like your anime and manga touch they will come back. you can use google's keyword tool to see how many competition there is.

  Thank you for your answers. Anime are like animated tv shows mainly from Japan (pokemon/Naruto), Manga are like comics. They have become very popular since the last 5 years.I was thinking of earning from ads. But what Iam unable to estimate is how much traffic i will need to earn a decent income [$200-$500] per month?And also is it worth it? Baadier, thats what i want to know too. I think most related sites earn from ads.

I think you need thousands of visitors to start making that kind of money. You might also try to offer videos on YouTube talking about anime and manga. You can also offer books that you sell, or links to books on these subjects. Go online and see how others are making it in your niche.

It takes time to get traffic. There are MANY Warrior Forum warriors who have courses on this very subject. Some are even free. Good luck to you!

If you have multiple purpose for your site, especially to share your anime and manga, I think you must be select the matching theme and another features inside of your site.

Something else you could do is perhaps sell pictures and such. I'm sure many people who like those sites would like to be able to buy posters of the images (I'm just assuming, so if not don't laugh). You could also create and sell eComics or something. Be creative. And of course you can always earn through the good ole' Google Adsense.

always start with your online search demand like any other niche start by spending some time with keyword tool and see if you can find searches that have a high "exact" match (not broad) and low competition. This will tell you how much people are looking for that content along with the level of your competition

Hi digia,

I am not a big shot Guru, but fiddling around on the Internet for a while has learned a few things. I also started off (sure everybody did) as a newbie like you.

Nobody can tell if you will make a few dollars or millions. I believe it depends on yourself, your passion about it, your creativity, initiative and the effort you put in.

You need to do a lot of research in how to get your site ranked well and to create traffic. There are various ways but the feeling I get is that the use of social media like "YouTube" etc is the way to go.

If you are passionate about your interest (sounds like) it, there is no reason according to me why you cannot succeed. The main thing is you must enjoy it and give it all you've got.

Everything big started with a small idea / dream. Look at Ford, McDonald's (as mentioned). Google, YouTube, Facebook, Forums etc... etc...

Just be creative and let your mind do the work in finding ways to fulfil your dream...

To get the response from the visitors you need to work really hard.
You have attract the visitors by your design work and also try to make this more user friendly so that people can easily navigate this.

Ads aren't going to generate you as much money as you're thinking anytime soon. The typical AdSense earner earns about $10 a month with a decent flow of traffic. Most ads aren't payed by view - they're payed by click.

Every niche is [for the most part] pretty crowded. Superior content will always make it's way through. Getting to the top 10 of Google is a matter of SEO strategy. If you're not familiar with web development, I doubt you have any understanding of SEO and, so, that will be quiet difficult for you.

Don't bite off more than you can chew. It won't be easy for somebody inexperienced to just come in and earn much of any income. Learn and then move forward.

Your best bet would be to start a wordpress site and write articles on anima/manga, you will need to pick a specific niche you want to focus to really see results from your work! good luck!

Are you selling a digital product and/or physical? I have a friend who slapped a cartoon character on those reusable shopping bags and charged $4 for it on amazon. Selling pretty well. She makes like $20-$50 a day. I love cartoons, it just has to look cute. Look at hello kitty and Felix the cat.

Don't spread yourself too thin. Sometimes you just need one product and when you've successfully profitted you can add more.

If the cartoon takes too long to make consider raising your profit goal higher. Your time is money. Don't waste it.

i think it doesn't matter how many your competitors are.. as long as you make your site attractive and of course the site's traffic and etc.

I think your first step is to understand that life is all about give before you can actually take.
you have to focus on quality and unique contents. and don't just bring profit as the first part of your business. just think about how to satisfy your visitors interest. if this is fulfill then you will have visitor pouring in through your marketing strategies.

It's not a good idea to go after a niche that's already crowded. I would suggest that you better go for a nice low competition niche. Plenty of money to be made there.
