What can I add to my site

WEB DESIGN

I would appreciate some feedback on my Wordpress site
olympicsbetzone.co.uk
I feel that it is lacking in content / extras. Any thoughts on what I could add or change?

Also, I was several issues with the widgets (some not appearing and other over-lapping) so decided to remove many of them. Has anyone else come across similar issues?

Looks good to me.
The only thing I would change is the color. Too pink for me

not so nice for me,too many categories .100men..200men etc just put it on 1 page.

Hi,

There are a number of things that could be changed such as the background colour. I would highly recommend sorting out a nice looking logo in order for the site to look more appealing /attractive. In order to spice it up, I would probably have countries and their Olympians. Possible even change the theme in general making it more interactive for the homepage, allowing users to select a country and then base it around events and stars that way.

You got plenty of time to make changes every 4 years

  A time machine? Most of those events have already happened. If this is something you want to stick with, try adding next year's world championships, indoor events and other relevant content so that if you are getting visitors, they know there's a reason to come back after the Olympics are over.
  
  Also, evidently athletes worth laying means something different in your country than it does in mine.

  I looked at your website and i have some notes at first glance:
  - It looks like there is no separation between the posts (or news) so it's like a big post.
  - Is the bottom bar suppose to be black and empty?

Yes you should really think about changing the background color. Plus also you really need to add a footer.

The text in your header area should be OlympicsBetZone (instead of OLYMPICSBETZONE).
I would also center the header image and text so it looks my organized and symmetrical.

You are using 2 shades of Pink (or is it salmon?), Orange, and "Twitter Blue" as your color scheme. This is not pleasant to the eyes. It has the mark of an amateur. You can easily make this look more professional.

How about adding more pictures on your header? Or maybe add pictures of the featured athletes. I think it will be more informative. The design is simple and it is well organized. Still, thumbs up or this site.
