Ok my turn. It's always easy to critique others but not yourself. LOL.

What do I need to convert this website into more sales?

I think you have the general idea down. I can see through your source code that you're using a template. I'm not sure based upon what framework... but I'd suggest adding a nicer looking template. Maybe go back and re-evaluate your logo. Make it a bit more unique - I can think of 1000 ideas/images having to do with magic. Also, use the front-slideshow to convey more about your products. Right now you're using general landscape composition shots. If you know photoshop, you could insert some of your products with text and overlay them on-top of the images.

Because, that's valuable space which is just showing quotes and trees. Quotes are good. Trees are nice. But are you selling either one of those? I'd also take off the bottom advertisement. I mean, I know that this is a marketing forum, but as a web designer - ads only really work if you're a large business or get high traffic rate (blogs, game reviews, etc). You're trying to make money by selling your products. What's worth it? Turning someone off due to some ugly advertisement which MIGHT make you 5 cents?

Adding advertisements on personal websites (especially ones which don't relate to your product) is a visual turn-off if you're trying to be professional. If you need any more advice feel free to message me.

Kewl. I took off the banner. You are right about that.

My current clients are part of the magical world, so I don't want to come off commercial.

If you've seen a metaphysical website you'll know what I am talking about. But the whole dungeons and dragons look was a bit much. Or is it?

Though I may not sell trees. I do sell moods. That was the point of the scenery and quotes. As part of meditation is to take people away from the material commercial world. How would you suggest I show the product when the product is an MP3?

I'm not saying that you shouldn't use the scenery in your website, I'm just implying that you need better visual markers for what you actually sell. For instance, you could find a generic vector or icon of an MP3 player and put it on the images of the trees. You're trying to connect them to your product while also selling them the idea of calmness.

I understand that you want to take them away from the consumeristic world that we live in, but you are selling consumer products, and they will be using your website on a consumer computer. So, why not be different than all of the other metaphysical websites? I've seen quite a few in my day, and many of them all follow the same feeling.

Your goal should be to merge the peacefulness and imagery of the metaphysical philosophy with the 21st century technologies which you're trying to sell. All I was pointing out was that those slides are valuable real-estate on your page. Overlay some product images ontop of the scenery. I had no idea what you sold until I saw the scrolling products below the slideshow.
