Hi, I needed to crop the size of some stock photos I bought. I spent hours with Photoshop but the crop didn't come out the way I wanted (I'm no Photoshop expert).

So I looked around and found this free tool that's simple, easy to use and get the job done quickly! It was a relief!

I don't know the programmer, am not an affiliate, so I won't get any credit if you use it. But if it saves you time and do the job like it did for me, it's good to share!

Free Tool To Help Change Aspect Ratio & Crop Your Photos!

Hope it helps.

It looks like that's for getting specific aspect ratios. If you want to crop large numbers of photos automatically, I would recommend looking into Photoshop batch processing. It's pretty easy and can save a ton of time for large numbers of files.

Pixlr.com is an excellent (and free) online alternative to photoshop. Its perfect for web ready images (saves as JPEG and PING with transparency).

I would not use it for print ready work, but for web based images (including simple cropping), its a powerhouse of features for an app that runs in a web browser.

Gimp can be difficult for some things, but cropping is easy. Just click on 'rectangle select' and select the part you want to keep. You can adjust any of the lines as many times as you want.

Then click on image and then on 'crop to selection' and then save the new file.
