Captions Under Images in Wordpress

I would love an alternative way to add a caption under an image in wordpress.

I don't like the grey frame that appears if you use the regular image editor and fill in the caption box.

Is there any thing else I can do that isn't too complicated that will eliminate a frame around the image but still have a caption?

Hi Catherine, the formatting/design of the image, caption and frame is controlled by the theme's CSS rules.

You can override these rules by adding your own custom css. If you want to post the URL to your example (or PM it to me if its private), I can send you a bit of CSS that will do what you are asking.

You can control the existing frame from your CSS file.Depending on your used theme the code can be different but not too much so please tell us at least what theme are you using or give us the link to your website.
