I need a plugin for one of my WP blogs that will allow multiple, already subscribed members to add content.

In effect they will need to be able to log on to their own area and add content WITHOUT any ability to access fellow members' areas.

Does such a plugin exist?

    Hi Anne,

    You shouldn't need a plugin for that. You can assign users "roles" that allow them to do certain things.

    In this case it seems an author role may be what you're looking for.

    You can set up the default role for new members in WP Admin => Settings.

      Thanks Jeff, I looked at this option, but it seems it won't allow each contributor to keep his own "stuff" secure, so that other members can only see it, but not have the ability to edit it.

      I need to be able to keep the pages accessible to their owners only, but viewable by all.
