page is semi hi-jacked how should I deal with this?

Okay, recently updated website to take it out of the 1990's. Also reorganized files and ended up with a bunch of broken links. I fixed them all. I was hovering between 18-21 top hits for 'are ufos real' in google and expected to get to first page with original content. anyway. . .

The problem is there is a website pointing to webpages which don't exist on my site.

my site is www dot areufosreal dot net of course I also own

areufosreal dot net which I set up a permanent 301 redirect to the www

Someone has a website areufosreal dot homeremedydr dot com

which has many links to areufosreal dot net etc

What do you guys think I should do?
should i make 301 redirects for the pages linked to?
or make actual pages that match the links?
or what else? I am not trying to hijack something myself, but google won't list me with so many 404 errors. HELP :confused:

    You have a few options.
    1) Go ahead and set up some 301 redirects to your homepage. It isn't going to be the fastest, but it'll avoid errors.
    2) Nothing.

    Are you using WordPress? If so, you're in luck. There's a plugin called Smart404. After installing it, it will redirect some slugs to other content - it will cut down on the URLs that end up going to a 404 page.

    I'd recommend setting up 301s, though.

    Wish it had been wordpress, thanks for the compliment though. I did set up 301s and I will try to e-mail the faulty webpage dude, so he knows. So frustrated, still not listed on google. I wouldn't care but I did a small survey just asking everyone I know how they search the web and 100% was by using google. Thanks for your advice.
