My WP Blog Does Not Look Right in IE

I have just discovered that my WP Blog does not display properly in IE. It used to.
I am not sure when it happened. I have tried disabling some of the latest plugins I have installed but it does not help.

Is it likely to be one of my plugins that is causing the problem?

This is my blog if you want to see what I mean: http://thedetoxspecialist.com/blog

    Hey Sandy

    I just had a look at your site in Firefox, Chrome and IE, they are looking about the same in all three of them to me.

    Not sure what the problem is that you are talking about. Just saying the site doesn't look right is not enough details for us to be able to help. What are you seeing that is wrong or broken?

    Also, it may be just a cache error on your computer. If you leave the site, then clear the cache and reload the site, this may solve it for you.

    As a designer of sites, I can tell you that I have had many issues on sites that was simply a cache problem.

    Your site seems to look fine in IE and Firefox for me,I don't see any difference at all in the two,just like Richard said above try clearing your cache in your browsers,that does help.

    I think you mean the textbox and button on the top menu right?
    I use IE9 and I did not see. But, I downgrade to IE7 and I found this.
    If you upgrade IE version to IE9, you will not see this.

    I notice this error with IE7. TIP: When using IE9 Press F12 (Developers Tools) a window will popup there is a button "Browser Mode" - you can use this to emulate IE7-9.

    I am not a wordpress user and it appears the style.css file is dynamically generated. So you need to go into wordpress and do a css overide (must be an option or plugin)

    Go to #search-bar and change display:inline to display:none
    &
    Go to #rss-bar and change display:inline to display:none

    Or as so:

    #rss-bar {display:none;}
    #search-bar {display:none;}

    I think I see what you were referring to:

    That could be a theme related problem,does this problem happen with another theme installed?

      This is a false statement. A good web designer can, and I do. Although it is of a web designers opinion how much support will be given to other browsers. Personally I support all the major browsers and IE 7+ for my projects (with a JS popup for those using IE6 notifying they need to upgrade).

      You should learn about CSS conditional statements.
