Need Best Wordpress Theme For My Site

I am looking for a very good theme with an excelllent design, user-friendly and has the ability to handle most applications I may need to add on my site.

I have used the current theme (view site at Great Home Business Ideas) I currently have for over a year now. I have noticed that it's still lacking in attracting good business. I would therefore like to change it and if you know one with the above qualities, let me know.

      programmers would just say that you don't need a theme, and that you could customize it all yourself.

      But, I'm not a programmer..

      I went with Thesis theme

      Since I just bought it, I cant really give a personal review of the pros/cons and features.

      it seems pretty nice and my limited knowledge with php tells me that much can be done with customizing it even further.

      It might be worth looking into.

      before deciding to go with Thesis, I was also considered Studio Press Genesis.


      Also, I can barely see the request for a name and email on the newsletter opt-in on your webpage. To me it blends in to the page too well.

    I would recommend Genesis and their Studiopress themes!
    You have lot of them to pick from.

    Using Genesis framework you get solid, speedy, seo, secure backbone.
    And using the child themes you get the look and feel of a professional theme.
    and Whenever there is update on wordpress, you have not to worry to loose
    your customization as it is the benefit of using CHILD themes!

      Yes Mohsin, I visited their site sometime last week and they are regarded to be having good themes. I also asked them to recommend to me one good theme. I think your recommendation is in line with what I had previously received. Let me wait for their response and see. Thanks for your feedback

    If you give be a bit more specific beyond "user-friendly" and "excellent design" I'd be more than happy to recommend a theme to you. I've literally looked at hundreds of themes over the last few months and I'm sure I could help you find what you are looking for.

    What do you want your new look and layout to accomplish beyond your current theme? Are you wanting to be able to display more content on your home page than you do right now? Or are you wanting better ad placement? And what type of look do you want? Do you want a blog feel, a magazine feel? A minimalistic look or a content heavy look? What's the overall goal of your site and what are you trying to get your visitors to do?

    I personally prefer woothemes. You don't have to master programming language in order to customize your wordpress.

    You can easily change the sliding image, layout and many more in their wooframework. You can try to use wooframework in their free theme.

    Hey Goleza,

    I don't think there is any one good theme to recommend.

    I've tried a lot of themes from different sites and I've been pretty happy with themes from "theme forest."

    If you pick popular wordpress from the drop down menu you can usually browse through and see the themes with the most buyers.

    These are good themes most of the time and you can check the comments to see if the developers are easily accessible for questions.

    It all depends on your needs.

    E.g. if you want your site to show an all devices (iPad, iPhone, Smartphones and stuff) or you just want a "desktop" version.

    I prefer to build my own unique themes.
