Post Shift website to wordpress?

I have an adsense related website. Adding new topics and manually editing the HTML has become a pain for me. Is there any way I could shift my website to WordPress or any other CMS. I mean, I don't won't to turn it into a blog. I just want to maintain it as a website only. Is there any theme that can be used to give it a look and feel like a website and not a blog.

Thanks

You can use WordPress and set it up to look like a regular website. There is an option to display a static home page, and not a blog roll. If you are familiar with HTML and CSS, you should be able to create a WordPress blog with just a little research on the subject. Or like sandeepsighyadav300 mentioned, hire someone to do it. If you need help shoot me a PM, or add me on Skype.

Countless themes can be made to not look like a blog. Switching an html site to wordpress is not that difficult, but if you need help I think there's at least a couple cheap wso's that detail how to do it, or just google and you'll find lots of results.

ANY WordPress install can be customized to "look" like a regular website. One of the main benefits of WordPress is their awesome template hierarchy.

I'm not sure how well versed you are in coding, but you'd be definitely be ahead to switch over to WordPress.

If you run into problems, feel free to shoot me a PM.

If you have any previous WP experience it will be a snap.
If not, it will take awhile to become accustomed to the basic WP structure...time consuming it is..tough it's not.
Let me know if you need any help.

Though WP is built based on the blog concept. But, you can just ignore the post, get the structure and introduce your page.

Various template you can use, for example, elegantthemes.

You want to see a site running on Wordpress? ok, here's one: that "how things work" site in YOUR signature is running WP with the freshlife theme.

What are you really asking?

Please read the entire thread before commenting. The guys above told me that it is possible to create a adsense website using WordPress. I have just asked them to let me know of any such website which is running on WordPress since WP is famous for blogs. "How things work" is a blog not a website. I hope you got it now.

You can shift your website to wordpress, and depending on the current look of the website, the conversion would cost from 100-200 dollars. I'm guessing, because i know PSD to wordpress costs around 150+ dollars.

Another option (and one that I'd personally choose) is to skip WordPress and use Joomla instead. There's more of a learning curve with Joomla, but like WordPress, it's free and has significantly more capabilities for future expansion.

There are some very nice Joomla themes available (for example, see RocketTheme.com) and tons of free or low-cost add-ons. And unlike WordPress Joomla isn't built around blogging software.

For what it's worth, a good many medium to medium-large sites are built using Joomla or Drupal. Drupal has more of a learning curve, and is probably overkill for your purposes, however.

Thanks a lot. But, I still have a question. Lets say, I have a article on "how to make money", so the URL looks like: "mydomainname.com: The Leading My Domain Name Site on the Net". If I move to WordPress, the URL will change and it will certainly looks like: "mydomainname.com: The Leading My Domain Name Site on the Net" .

Won't this change affect my site's ranking in search engines since my earlier articles are already indexed by Google and Bing.

The only different with the url is the file extensions.
Html built has .html and Wordpress doesn't have any. There's a complete guide on how to make your wordpress looks like a website. You can change the title and subheading Under general Settings. For the links, go to settings > permalinks. You will be good.

Also, there are some plugins, like All In One SEO to help you get the full experience, and control over your links and meta tags.
