Hi Out there... I really need some serious help!! I have an autoresponder and I am trying to build a webpage in a free html editor. When I try to paste the "scriptcode" in to the html source, where I'm told to do it, and how to do it, it doesn't work. I've used sooooo many hours to figure it out and on my Mac it takes less than 10 seconds to paste it into the default html thing, where it reads it as easy as it is, but the world of Windows is more complicated and I HAVE to use Windows for what I'm currently creating, so this is where I got lost. So I know the code works, but when I paste it, and go back to see how it looks in the normal view, nothing is there. I use the correct insert procedure and everything, but NOTHING happens. I've tried 3 different HTML editors, with the same results. Can anyone give me some suggestions and links to find the right "manuals"? |

Without being there to see exactly what you're doing, the best thing I can say is to try and use the plain HTML version of the form. It could be that your HTML editors only allow <script> tags to be in the header (where they are technically supposed to be) so when they are placed outside of it, they rap your knuckles with a ruler by removing your script. I hope this helps! |

The problem isn't Windows, it is the HTML editor that you are using

Have you tried just using a text editor to insert your code? A good open source editor for Windows is PS Pad - editor PSPad - freeware HTML editor, PHP editor, XHTML, JavaScript, ASP, Perl, C, HEX editor . Again this isn't a Windows issue. Bill |
