It's bad. Creating a squeezepage is same as creating a salesletter/salespage/salescopy. If you can check WSO section, you can see how they create their salesletter, it should be the same as creating squeezepage but the function is optin. Without body color is not a good idea. Instead of border color, use css shadow. Search on google for squeezepage examples. I suggest copy a sample template, then change it little by little for improvements.

I have to agree with renancorbes.

Your squeeze page is too simple. There is tons of Info online that offer 'proven affiliate marketing strategy'.

Try speaking to what your target not only wants but also to their lacks and struggles.

Also, a few bullet points stipulating what they'll get would give your target a clear sense of what exactly they'll get from....what are they getting? Is it a free report?...a subscription?

Hope this helped. Keep us in the loop.

It's not too exciting and the photo you used of the girl still has the watermark on it from whereever you got it from . Makes me think you just downloaded it from some stock photo /image site without paying for it.

I plan on paying $1 for the business woman image. Their is no way I would go live with a watermark accross an image.

This page is just a prototype so I will be buying the stockfresh image before going live.

What do you think of the shadow I just added?

You can expand that thing and kindly remove that stockfresh watermark from the image it may not look like professional page.

Are you talking about the gray shadow on the gray background behind the big white square. Frankly I would never have seen it if you hadn't asked about it.

So it does. I kinda zoned out as I was reading "fill in you name and email..." usually text.

How bout creating a large header that reads something like;
"free ebook...
Learn some of the best proven strategies to make money as an affiliate!"

A header that entices, usually in red and 'headline 1' font is the popular approach.

I have now completed the design of this squeeze page. The right side image has now being replaced with the actual code to display the aweber form.

Cbx try out the form with the floating text "fill in your name and email"

The only thing left to do is buy the business woman stock image.

What happened to your web form? It's just an isolated fill in bar. I'm not sure if that's the name bar or the email bar. Where is the submit button?

Though, I am viewing on my iPhone using safari. I'll check later on my pc to see if it's the same there too.

Looks fine on my end on my pc. Yea, I would try veiwing it on your pc.

The yellow "yes I want free access" is the submit button.

The email form also appears fine on my htc form.

Cbx please do let me know if it looks ok on your computer.

Thanks

Its way too simple, just a text line and picture of a woman. I didn't find it appealing.

What do you mean about the opt-in? You've really lost me. Here is a screenshot of how the webpage appears on my computer.

Are you refering to after you optin? If you are you will get an aweber error as I have no aweber campaigns linked. Actually I don't yet have an aweber account.

If there is something wrong with how the optin form is displayed can you please take a screenshot of what you see.

Thankyou

I think I've fixed it. It was strange because I only saw what you were seeing one box after deleting catch a couple times then noticed some missing code on the page.

Replaced the code and now looks ok.

Can everyone please confirm that the optin form is showing up properly.

Thanks.

It's OK.

I you should consider other fonts or possibly images for the text as it looks kind of bad. I think that the background image and the whole shadow box thing is ugly, I also think that you should skip the name collection part as it's not needed...

Well, the main problem anyways is the lack of interesting colors or whatever... It just looks too boring.

It's not bad. The only thing I had a problem with and was gonna mention is the stock image with the watermark. But glad your gonna change to a paid one.

Good luck with your site.

Make sure you ad some compelling call to action copy...and maybe a few arrows.

I also would put a relevant picture up there...I'm not sure what the woman with her hand out is pertaining to yet.

Other than that, good design.

Hope this helps.

If you want to make your homepage much better you should design your homepage with medium font and prefer red and green color.

Another thing I can suggest, you could use a squeeze page generator.
You just fill in each question and insert your web form's HTML code in the last or second last fill in and it creates the page for you.

Only drawback, they're not great for seo. If you plan to use seo for traffic, then don't use it. Otherwise, it's a great time saver.

Cbx, I'm not being funny but all the squeeze page generators I've tried produce very unprofessional squeeze pages.

I am very happy with the design of my current squeeze page. On Internet explorer my squeeze page had a word sticking out on the right hand side. I've fixed this by changing the width to 670 PX

Here is a free squeeze page template I found and tweaked. If I'm being honest though I prefer my current design.

It's a good start but I would make a few changes. I'd just say that this; if you were a customer, would would stand out about that page to you?

I'll be honest, the firs things that catch my eye are the beautiful woman, and then the "I want Access" button.

I don't actually read the Title first, and I didn't instinctively know that the Title and the Content writing is separate. So I would suggest, "Free Affiliate Success Guide" - use a similar font to what you used on the "I want access" button, and also change the colour so that it is differentiated from the main body text.

I would also recommend using a different colour for the word "FREE" and maybe emphasize it with underlining/bold. When somebody scans a page, they don't read straight away, they process small things that stand out; and as I said, the things that stand out at the moment are things that aren't as important. I want to know what you are giving me for free, right now! I don't want to have to look carefully. Humans are lazy.

I would also separate the "fill in your name xyz" from the main body, because that is your call-to-action line. You want that to be closer to your form, and again, change the font up! That's something you want people to see. It should say something like "Fill in your name and email address right now for free instant access!"

I would also recommend adding an element of fear-of-loss. Humans are very susceptible to fear-of-loss, even when you know its a sales tactic, we still go for it. You could try something like "This is one time offer", or "I don't normally do this and this won't be available for long", or "limited spaces" or whatever - it just adds to the psychological element and will likely increase opt-ins.

I have other ideas for you too....but I don't want to redesign your whole squeeze page, these are just opinions and it's up to you to use them...

Hope you find some value in what I have said.

Take care.

I agree Joe that the images are what people see first. I plan on using PPC text ads which will match the "Free Affiliate Success Guide" headline.

So people should know that they are getting a free affiliate guide before they even get to my site.

Thanks for your opinion

Might want to add some bullet points with some copywriting describing a few benefits of the ebook. Otherwise people don't see what's so special about your affiliate ebook.
