Not sure where to post this on the fourms.. if this is the incorrect place please let me know and I will move it! Anyhow, I am trying to upload a download page to a Godaddy website, the download page is a .zip. Seem to be running into errors.. It seems like the file only shows up being zipped (in Godaddy) when it is unzipped on my computer?

  • Tealhorsedesign,

If I understand you correctly, you want to upload a zip file to GoDaddy’s server using an FTP? To accomplish this you will need to have command line access such as through an SSH port. Is there a reason it needs to be zipped when you transfer it? If not you could just extract the files on your computer and transfer the contents over to GoDaddy’s server.

This link details how you unarchive files with your hosting account. If you choose the method of transferring the zip file, you will need to extract the contents on the server,

Let me know if that helps,
