Hi everyone, I have been making sites for a long time but this is the first time I have asked for a review - be gentle! I've never tried to monetize a site of mine before, I just did it for fun.

I would pay someone to make a logo. It can go a long way to creating an impressive site, and establishing a stronger presence.

Otherwise I think the site looks great; it's clean, organized, and has content.

Thanks Jimmy, I have an amazon account that I have barely used, may be time to dust that off.

MikeFromMaine, do you mean the ones on the bottom of the page, or altogether? I'm a little fuzzy on what they are worth to be honest.

I really don't have any criticism on the site, it looks fantastic. If you go with a logo, don't do a full banner. I think a banner across the top would be overkill for the look and feel of the site.

  Your website is simple and focus..
  try to place more social media buttons,that links to your social websites
  
  click to action buttons as well, like where they just click if they want to buy the product..or share buttons if they want to share to friends..it will spread the words..
  
  If your monetizing from Adsense its good to place ad sense in ever page like below or above the images,header and footer

background is scary and I second the comment about the tags being distracting and you need a header to contrast the rest of the site, otherwise you have a lot of good things going the slider is good and the rest of the site looks good....

Good job. Don't stop improving this site or move onto something else, I think you'll be able to make it much better/nicer than it is - and it doesn't look bad. Much better then many I have seen people asking to review here.

Let me give you some links - these blogs I think are all what I would aim to have my style blog look like - also I want to say I really like your URL (styleblog.info) - I think you are onto something good here. Keep working at it.

^ If I were you, I would aim to have your site looking as close to one of those as possible - keep in mind, this may be easiest with a $50 premium wordpress theme website - but if you are serious about making it that nice, $50 and work to learn simple design with wordpress will be worth it.

Looks good but like mentioned before you really need to get a logo. You don't even have to buy one just go to dafont write your website name and slap a image relating to your niche on it.
