First Site Review?

You can take advantages of adsence when you have number of traffics for your website. Your website is very simple. Update this regular basis with some informative posts.

Adsense and traffic issues should NOT be discussed here - there are specialized (sub)forums for those topics... just go to the main page of WF and look around!

As for feedback about design: nothing interesting above the fold (the part a visitor sees when arriving on your page WITHOUT scrolling down)... just a lot of empty space and distracting elements.

Just for the record: I hate crammed, busy webpages and I like to have some "air" on any page - however, the unused white space in this case is not functional; it doesn't help.

If you are into this DIY method of web site making, you should study/read about proportions (the Old Greeks have already invented it,

) and about grids in web design, specifically.

My website is running off a free template. I'm not sure how to use the free space on the website.

Or how to add stuff to the space. The template doesn't have any options for that.

Ah, in that case you should try to avoid using it... It doesn't look as a very attractive theme (btw, in WP they call it "themes" - a theme is made up by several template files).

There are hundreds (thousands?) of free WP themes. Some are better, others are worse.
This one belongs to the latter category.

Hello mate,

The site looks good.

Don't forget to add the footer items and the legal pages.

Also, I noticed that there are some comments in your site, however be sure that these comments are real because it appears that these are just spam ones. As you can see, these are spam comment templates.

One more thing, if you could come up with a good logo, that would be great.

The theme I'm using doesn't let you add stuff to the footer, but I'm sure I could edit the HTML to fix that right?

How do you tell if a comment is span?

I plan on out sourcing a logo soon!

Your site looks better than last time I saw it.

I know this is not the right forum to discuss traffic but if I can just quickly mention that sites in your niche that rank on the first page of Google have massive amount of content (lots of drills). And there was one in the top 3 that doesn't even have a professional design!

When I first reviewed your site I thought you were an enthusiast who wanted to grow your site (hey, I'm naive, right!) but if you're after adsense then there's a long way to go!

But most importantly, I'm still waiting for those new drills you were going to add, you've been too busy tinkering with the design, haven't you. :-)

Thanks! I spent a few hours looking for a free theme that would better fit my site!

Yea the top three sites definitely have a lot more content then me, but I know making it to the top page of Google won't be easy. I'm hoping I can get on the first page by beginning of January.

Making a little bit of money with the site would really help since I'm in college haha. And about the drills, I haven't had to much time this week, between homework and a local festival that's going on.
