so i am close to closing a deal, we are launching a website built using word press and using open cart for the e-commerce side, but i don't know what my options are? i want the cart and blog under the same domain without having to link out to the shop, can this be done using wordpress hosting or do i find hosting elsewhere, i have spoken to my designer but he is acting shady and very vague in his explanations of the subject, so i just wanted some advice before i commence.
cheers in advance

Actually, your questions are "shady and very vague"... What is "wordpress hosting" - according to you?

First of all, hosting has nothing to do with anything.

Second, yes you can have a shopping cart and blog in the same domain. I would suggest Magento which is extremely powerful or a simpler solution would be Shopify. They have a build in blog already and take care of all your hosting. It sounds like Shopify would be a great option for you considering you don't seem so knowledgable about what can/cannot be done.

I will also suggest the same CMS which you have mentioned in your post. Magento is one of the best tool for developing shopping cart and also we have a blog too.
