WP Theme Update

Have my WP site and how do I determine if I need to update the Theme...Not sure if there are Themes that work better than others, or do all do about the same...Not sure if Themes have different functionality options from other Themes...Thanks Ken :rolleyes:

    Sometimes, you'll see a notification when a theme needs to be updated (it all depends on how the developer wrote the code for the theme).

    As for switching themes, it's easy to do but you must remember to back everything up before switching (just in case) because, you are correct, different themes have different functions and settings. So you're going to have to reset your widgets, etc.

    Whilst there are many great free WordPress themes available on the web, only a very few of them have the security and custom ability of a professionally designed premium WordPress theme.

    Has your theme not displayed in the Updates box? if its not then there is no update for it.

    You can use any theme you want.You can also update the themes when you get a notification for a new version but make sure you don't have any changes made to the theme templates.If you have then all those changes will disappear when you update.To handle this you can use child themes.
    We can't make suggestions because everything depends about your website content so it's up to you to decide which theme is the best for you.
