Default Thoughts about this under construction template

Hi guys,
i'm working on a under construction template, you can see the demo here.

I'm interested to hear your oppinions on it, what do you (dis)like?
What should/could be improved and stuff like that?

It is an idiotic idea to design an "under construction" page: only insane people make available (public) unfinished web sites!

I know it has become a trend to show a coming soon page to build anticipation for upcoming product but one of the most important thing to do on a coming soon page is

Plug-in a Mailing List Form.

Start building your list right from the word go.

and when you are ready to launch you have a list of people who want to hear from you.

Your design is missing that...

----------
Edit:

I see you have a mailing list form..

but its hidden, Make it splash right on the page. Do not assume people will find it themselves.

I just could not find it.

Well, it'sa rather popular category, on, for example, ThemeForest. You have a bunch of templates of the sort there.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Other than that, regarding the design, do you have any suggestions?

Popularity and insane (idiotic) are not mutually exclusive

Hah, i agree, but there is some logic in promoting an unfinished page/website.

You let the fuzz out there - there will be this new product/page, you're announcing it and letting people know when it will be done
