Hi my website got hacked, visit the site MyOpenTheatre.com. There s a wiredcinema.com link below footer which I didnt place it there.

In wordpress plugin "Secuirty Scanner" I found that all my files are 777 CHMOD i.e., owner, group and public read, write and execute.

I changed everything to 755 ie Public and Groups can only read and execute. But how and where to remove that link ? Please help !!!!!

    Yeah thanks it got resolved. Actually I took the get_footer() function call from the footer.php file itself. But I couldnt find the how come they included the link. Where is it actually written in my wordpress folder ??? Please help !

    What plugin adds that link? Pretty sneaky in the bottom left corner, same color as the background.

    Never mind, I found it.

    The plugin is on this site: wordpresspluginsformovieswebsites dot com

    Just remove this part in the code and you should be fine.

    Ironic how the plugin gets marketed as to stop giving other movie sites your PR juice, while it tricks you and hides a link to another movie site on all your pages. Classy.
