    Hi,

I may be easiest to see if Wordpress has a good classifieds plugin, otherwise, check out Joomla and if neither convince you, then there are other 3rd party solutions so that you don't have to try to code it yourself.

There is a Wordpress theme on ThemeForest might be exactly what you're looking for.

WordPress - Openhouse Real Estate & Automotiv car dealership | ThemeForest

If you work for clients... it is your duty to know exactly what they need (after interviewing them and doing a needs assessment). When you know what they need - you get a clear picture what kind of features must be in that future website.

Then, as a knowledgeable designer/developer* you pick the right tool for the right job. It is that simple.
Nobody can guess and spare you from learning and working.

    Hi,

That'd be something perfectly doable with my latest e-book (see below). I don't speak about a classifieds component in it though, but there are a few good classifieds Joomla components of that type, adding one of them on top of what you'll learn in my e-book should be rather easy.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

Why don't you be the middle man and have someone to design a classifieds for you? You will get your share in the deal and it will be hassle free.

You might want to outsource the classifieds, that way you could get it cheaper. And yes, you gotta know what your client wants. It's there website you are building, not yours... Make a design that would answer to their needs so it would deliver the best results.

Know what they really want so you could tailor-fit your design with their needs.
