I want to do my own website headers, where to get the graphic elements?

I've been having a lot of trouble finding reliable designers and I'm at the end of my rope... I don't know what else to do except take the "Do it Yourself" approach and make up my own banners and headers.

I need someone to point me in the right direction and let me know where I can get graphic elements that are useful for creating headers.

All I want to do is create headers for my squeeze pages and email newsletters, no serious design work involved.

Thanks for the help!
Pete

Search for XHeader, they have a free version with around 500 header designs, I have the pro version which has about 5,000 headers I think. Easy to use and there are some great designs in there.

Honestly, I know it may be a little bit of a headache initially but I would recommend getting photoshop or gimp and learning to create your own headers and logos it'll pay off in the long run

I'm using a mac and I already have "Pixelmator" which is basically a slightly less powerful version of Photoshop, but still supports about 95% of all the features most people ever use... and it's like $50

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I image it's just going to be a matter of practice.

Well the best place is to search some related Image on Google search, crop them out in Photoshop,
search out for some font website like dafont.com select a better font which you like most and start work in photoshop.
    Thanks
