I am now learning website design.
I plan to make a simple blog website. I will learn everything from net.And I am now use dreamwear 8 as my website design tool.
You guys have any suggests,thank you very much.

    If you want to start a blog, why would you do it with dreamweaver?

    Why not use pre-built blog software (like Wordpress) instead of reinventing the wheel?

      Really appreciate of you.
      There is one thing I just want to do my own blog myself.And this is the first step for my website design learning.That's it. By the way ,I didn't use wordpress before,just know a little about the wordpress.It's the problem why I even didn't think about it.

      It is Good that you are doing it in Dreamweaver as a beginner but you can use Photoshop for designing it will be more helpful for you.
      you can also use other designing software : Photoshop , Adobe Illustrator .. etc

      I know some about photoshop,but not very good at it.Therefore , I will learn to design the website as well as study photo.
      But I didn't know about the Adobe Illustrator,because I am just start out my website design.I will learn Illustrator later.

    First decide if you want a blog/website and free/paid.
    If blog free than learn blogspot tutorials
    If paid website than learn wordpress tutorials.
    Its easy all you have to know is Themes,plugins and basic SEO.

    If you are new in web designing & wanted to make your own blog...better you starts from blogger..it is far easy then dreamweaver..

    If you want to learn use this resource: w3schools.com - that's how I learned how to hardcore. Get a template online and play around with it using software's like Dreamweaver for instants. Trial and error my friend.

      yes this will be nice start. you will learn basics of html from here & can implement those on dreamweaver too.

    start firstly with html and css tutorials. dreamveawer - is good, but you will never understand website design perfectly.

    I think WP has tutorials online that you could check out. Yes it would take some time for you to learn how to design a website. But if you really want to learn it, you gotta spent time... you are going to benefit from it in the end anyway.

    i suggest you learn basic website scripting languages like HTML/CSS and Javascript browser languages etc. before jumping into server languages handling databases etc.

    Its like trying to study string-theory as a rookie astrophysicist. Just not going to happen without extensive knowledge on it.
