Hi everyone, sorry for the newbie question, I want to create a website on a web design niche but I dont know the difference in building a website or a blog, what is the difference? Also if I build a niche website what would be some ideas to build content on this topic?

Thanks for the comments

A very simple advice: if you don't know anything about web design... you should not try to build a "niche site" about web design.

Ah thanks Istvan, actually I do know how to design been doing it for 5+ years now, but I am stuck in the whole terminology of the words, Its sad that I don´t know the difference and it does make me feel a bit embarrassed but that is why Im asking because I dont know, is it ok if you could give me your 2cents on the topic, I would kindly appreciate it.

Really, there isn't much of a difference between a blog and a website. Sure, blogs; you give updated posts whenever, but that's practically the same as a website.

If you're not very savvy with websites, use Wordpress. It's extremely easy to use, and the plugins you can get for free are life savers.

For content, that's all you. You can post tutorials, or what's new in the industry, anything. It's yours, and you do exactly what you want with it.

Thanks JCoffey, this whole "find a niche" thing is so new to me and clarifying things like this makes it easier for such a newbie like myself
