Referral software - used in other ways
Hi to all of you,
I'm looking for a referral system/software that can be used as basically an entry into a giveaway (or just a way to track people referring others to my site) instead of having it set up as a true affiliate program to give people a % of the person they refer's purchases. If anyone's done this, I would love to hear what you used and if it's easily modified for this purpose.
I've never implemented an affiliate program or referral software on my site (besides of course being part of an affiliate program), so I don't know if any of the "good" ones are easily customizable for purposes like this or if not. Reading what their website's say usually isn't all that believable to me - especially so when I'm going to have to put in a fair amount of work to get it installed on site in the first place.
