Best WordPress Shopping Cart Plugin??

I need a shopping cart for Wordpress that offers the following features:
  • Uses Authorize.net to process CC transactions
  • Is lightweight enough to just sell 1 product
  • Sends an order notification email to the website owner
  • Allows me to add an input field where the buyer has to input a special number
  • Is compatible with WP 3.4
So far, I've tried eShop and TheCartPress with NO success. I've scoured through the documentation of both and for the life of me cannot get them to function properly.


Any ideas? I'm desperate for help at this point.


I don't want to use a hosted shopping cart with a monthly fee. I need a WP plugin.

    Just a question - if it is just one product (buy now) - why not use Paypal as a complete solution or even Google Wallet?

      My customer wants to use Authorize.net, of which I recommended. The rates are also much better than PayPal or Google Wallet.

    Are you absolutely sure that you want to base your business on a plug-in written by a programmer who may be gone tomorrow? If you want features that the plug-in does not have, how are you going to get them? What happens if the plug-in is not kept up to date?

    In my experience, I have seen people start out with a cart tacked on to Wordpress approach, and then outgrow it quickly. When that happens, they have to start over from scratch with an eCommerce solution that is built from the ground-up to be a store. They have to go through all the steps of setting up their store a second time, all of their URLs change, and it is a major hassle.

    All I am saying is that if you expect your business to grow, you will reach a point where a cart tacked-on to blogging software does not meet your needs. Then what?
