Hi, I have a wordpress blog but am unsure which size banner I need. How would I find out which size to use?

    First you should decide whether you refer to "header image" or "banner"?

    Banners are (more or less) of standard size: they are used for ads. See Standard web advert sizes

    If you want to do a header that you can re-use as a banner for advertising, then opt for a standard 728x90 size which will blend into the background color of your header. If your header is white then all the better :-)
