Edit Wordpress permamlink to point at website homepage...

Hello all, got a question regarding permalinks in Wordpress,

Our blog currently sits at:

www.domainexample.com/blog/

on the blog, the main top navigation is:

Home | About Us | Etc | Etc | Shop | etc...

I want to be able to edit the 'Shop' link to point to www.domain.com (where our shop sits) rather than www.domainexample.com/blog/shop...

Can this be achieved by editing the permalinks?

    Don't think so but there are plugins that achieve this so search Google for Wordpress Links or Hyperlinks, external link etc..and you'll find one. I used one a few years back but sorry can't remember the actual plugin name.

    So other than a plugin, there's no way for a link on the main navigation to point to a URL outside of the blog itself?

    If you are using a Custom Menu then just go to Appearance--->Menus and add a custom link to your menu named "Shop".Also remove the existing Shop link from your menu. I hope it helps.
