White Background/white text on Wordpress

OK everyone. I have an issue, and apparently a lot of others do as well, that when I am writing - or editing an older post/page in Wordpress, I get a white background along with white text when using the "visual" mode.

I have deactivated all of the plugins, changed the css file from "white to black", reinstalled wordpress and nothing works.

I've also looked at all of the "fixes" listed on the wordpress forums, google searches and...no luck! So...if anyone has a cure for this ailment I, and MANY others would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Chuck

Have you replaced the wp-admin and wp-includes folders and their files, and dumped your cookies and browser cache?

'Replace' means actually deleting the old files from the server before uploading new ones.

I know you said you 'reinstalled WordPress' - but if you don't specifically delete the old files, sometimes the server OS will not copy over the old file correctly.

Thanks Steve, did all of the above and still have the same issue.

After following everything I could find on this issue I decided to try other browsers. I currently use Safari almost exclusively and it was the one I was using while experiencing this issue.

Firefox and Chrome worked perfectly and the issue disappeared when using them. So I guess the issue wasn't with Wordpress or my host but instead a browser issue.

For those of you that experience this...try using a different browser!
