Plugin for Hair Dressing salon

Hi warriors,

I need recommendations here please.

My client runs a hair dressing salon, she wants me to design a site for the outfit which should her see want happens in salon on daily basis.

It should have a section where each service performed on a particular day will be registered, the materials used will be listed by it, as well as the price for the service.

The should also help her know and take control of the staff activities and movement. It should also provide booking for customers, and be able to display their services, details and prices.

Is there any wordpress plugin that can do all these? I use only wordpress to make my sites.

    I use only wordpress to make my sites.
    Then you may be out of luck.

    Please understand: all you guys posing out there as web developers while the only thing you are able to do is setting up a CMS (WordPress) doesn't serve neither you, nor your client(s). Or the WP-community at large...

          Sounds like what she needs is a spreadsheet and something like dropbox and then make a web application for the appointments. There are some decent ones available out of the box for a few hundred dollars.

          Of course the scheduling calender could be built in WordPress. One big issue when picking what to use--how many people working in her salon?

            Yeah, spread sheet and more like invoice too. her major concern is to track every transaction as there are recorded, and get to know the activities of the staff from her office. the salon is her's, but she works with another company. that means she hardly visits the salon.

            she has about 12 employees.

        I know. All those that don't understand specific web development issues and/or coding requirements for certain accounting/management/etc. tasks... always think that everything is solved by a miraculous plugin.

    My suggestion is that she doesn't need a plug-in website or the like to do what she is wanting. There is very good software out there that does exactly what she is asking and more. I don't understand the need to re-invent the wheel. I would suggest you recommend her to a program like Salon Iris or Kitoomba.

      Thanks very much presotto, this is nice suggestion. I'm trying out salonbooker and insight now. there are both web based softwares, whichever that meets my options better, i will pay for it.
