There are tens of thousands themes available both paid and free. Just google for them, GoogleWarrior.

You need to work out what you want to do with your blog and then decide if you want a 1,2, or 3 column theme. When you have found one you like install it to see if it really meets your criteria. If it does, start personalizing it with your own header graphic and change tab colours etc and if it doesn't keep looking.

I completely agree....but would like to add that you also want to take into consideration doing or buying a theme that is fast loading and one that is not only view compatible with pcs but also mobile devices, tablets etc.

If you know the subject or topic or niche of your theme and you don't want to do the design yourself. Then I would just do a google search for whatever your niche is gonna be and see if a theme comes up that you can purchase.

      Hope this helps.

Nowadays, lot of people use tablets and smartphones to surf on the Internet. So, a fully responsive theme is good for your blog to get more audiences

I have seen professional IM blogs that use OptimizePress and I was speechless. I thought you could only do squeeze pages, sales pages, membership sites but didn't think that the blogging platform would be so powerful.

This question (OP) and all the similar questions are soooo BAD and ______________ (insert your favourite adjective for not-so-smart!).

It just doesn't make sense, yet people keep asking it like maniacs.

All the WP themes (because only WP has "themes" the rest name their design differently) are for blogging. WTF? WordPress is a blogging tool, isn't it?

And the eternal "best" in such questions is as stupid as it can get. There is no universal "the best" - everything depends on your blog's goal, content, targeted visitors, features required etc.

If YOU don't know what are the requirements for your own blog - nobody will know.

It depends on your niche topic and if you are looking for free or Premium wordpress themes.

If you are looking for Premium wordpress themes check out Studiopress.com I really like those
