The time has come... Warriors may I ask you for an honest review?

Good Evening Warriors,

I don't know why but I am so nervous about asking you guys for your comments and critiques!
Anyways, we have (almost) finished our website which promotes our web design and graphic services, we are targeting a medium - high end clientele, so the message we are trying to give is that we deliver quality not quantity.

I just want to know your honest opinions, does it show you we can dish out quality work?

Thank you in advance to whoever takes the time to have a look! I appreciate both negative and positive comments ( as long as they're constructive criticism ).

    Pretty good website..for the homepage under "website" is that an image of the game "sims"..I would put an example of a good website you have designed not an image of the sims..

      Thanks for taking a look!

      Ha ha no, thats not the game sims, but now that you mention it, it does resemble it a lot, I will be adding light boxes ASAP so you can see the image bigger!

        Nicely done man, I love how the category slider turns from grey to colored when you hover over the particular image in the slider

        Your site does look professional, however the portfolio area could be improved (larger images? it's hard to evaluate your work, especially full websites, with small icons like that though again, the hover functionality is cool).

        Lastly, the blog link in the top nav bar is pointing to an empty blog. Might want to take that out until you've put some content on it.

          Yes I suppose your right, whats the point of a Portfolio if you cant actually see the work right? haha, I'll get on to that!

          I'll get rid of the blog link till its ready, I'm still not sure whether to use the subdomain, or a completely different domain name linking to the website.

            Wait, are you suggesting to put the blog on either a subdomain or completely different domain? Why not simply have it in a subfolder, like merkurio.co.uk/blog?

    The idea was to put the blog on a different brandable domain name and cover topics regarding web and graphic design, and having a "services" section linking to merkurio.co.uk

    Do you reckon I'd benefit more from having it on /blog? It just seems less authoritative to me, but thats just my personal view
