Help me leave Wix! Or tell me why I should stay

I need help! I can not find a way to leave the website designer known as Wix!

I have used it's premium version on multiple websites because it is an easy drag and drop site that I can make attractive html sites with. Keep in mind, I am not skilled in any type of coding, but I have no issues learning. I have built a pretty decent blog network through wordpress themes that look decent, but for money sites I just feel like I do not have the options that I need.

For one, I can not figure out how to change the default image on header from the theme. Maybe it's because I have just used free themes, but I see nowhere that allows me to do that.

I like the option to be able to work on theme types and design within, but I can not figure out how to load my own logo! :-/

Can anyone help me find a different route than wix. I hate the website folders through their site. I do not like the look of hash tags and exclamations in the middle of my url! If you know of an other platform to design websites on my own domain that would be great. If you know of any links to direct me on customizing my wordpress site, that would be even better
