Hey Guys and Gals ,

I would be very grateful if you could give me your honest opinion on this client's website, in particular, if I should keep the blue footer or leave it the same color as the rest of the page: Site

Your feedback will enable me to deliver a better quality of work and service to my other potential clients.

Thank you

    The header doesn't look professional.

    I would change it.

I agree. They like it but something I can definitely improve on. Life is a learning curve. We never stop learning, right?

Yes, get rid of the big blue footer. Use same color.

Cool. I was actually thinking that and you have reinforced the idea.

It's great to get peoples views as I think I personally grow as a professional if I receive feedback like this.

      Thanks

To be honest, which I'm sure many here will "disagree", but it looks spammy to me. I'd suggest using a more professional theme.

I agree. You need to change the header. Everything else looks like a normal squeeze page, except for the header. Change that to something a little more professional and you're good to go.

Having a blue header is too dark for me. Maybe you can use light colors?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[7576723].message }}

It's not the blue per se. The black title is too dark. it overlaps and doesn't align very well with the borders of the body (looks slapped on). I suggest changing the main title font to a non-serif or maybe even a drawn font to go along with the theme you got going on there. Also consider playing around with shadows and transitioning the colors a bit better. Just my 2 pennies.

    Cool design!
Did you use optimize press for this site?

Maybe you can enhance the header desgin. It seems that it doesn't look professional to me.

      Yes Optimizepress.

Your right, the header appears to look unprofessional. The rest of the site is fine.

Keep up the great work on your squeeze page. Sometimes headlines are all in red and I agree the top image could just be a little bitter higher quality possibly.

The body area design looks good, but the header does look amateur.
Poor color gradient, stretched image, poor fonts (header font, the body's fine).
Also, if your going to have your header image overflow the body container, use some type of tabs/shadow design so it looks like it belongs there.
I built a site awhile back that has a header top. Not as large as yours but if you look where the square edge tucks into the body wrap area you'll see what I mean. The example header-site

I would lose the footer background.
There's no reason to draw any attention to that area at all.
Change the initial start image on the video.
All you see are the words "Free Support" and that doesn't really seem to be the message your trying to drive home.
Even though it's a youtube video, you can still modify the initial image that's seen.

    Overall pretty good.

Wow David. That is really motivating and thanks for that example header. I've learned so much already.

Here are some example blank headers with improved gradients. They are just jpg's but worth looking at/using. Also one with some example text.
(feel free to use them or anyone else too, that's cool!)

        Example header 01:
        Example header 02:
        Example header 03:
        Example header 04:
        Example header 05:
        Example header 06:
        Example header 07:

They do not have the bottom edge border shadow like I mentioned previously.
OptimizePress automatically adds those to the bottom of the header banner on CERTAIN templates.
If you choose a template where it doesn't, then you can simply add it yourself. You will find the image for it somewhere in the OP folder.

        Hope their useful.

Your a Gentleman and a True Warrior David.

I am extremely grateful for your help and support. Those headers will be a great starting point for me.

          Thanks a million.

Just by looking at it I can say that it's fine, the only real negative thing is the header, it looks horrible, but I imagine that you already know that from the previous comments, just improve that and you'll be set.

I think the header is very poor.

The rest looks like a nicely presented clean squeeze.
