Hi Warriors, I'm wondering what your take is for the best program to build websites. I know dreamweaver is good, but it's really expensive. Usually, I just use frontpage, but it's limited as you probably know... So-- what do you recommend for building sites? Thanks for any suggestions! Rebecca |

Hi Rebecca, Have you ever used Kompozer? It's a great piece of software and best of all it's FREE. We might be able to do each other a favour here, I'm looking for five people to review my video series on building websites using Kompozer in return for using their testimonial on my site. See details here: Learn and Master HTML using these Kompozer video tutorials What do you think.....interested? Craig |

Hi Rebecca, Why not move on to Expression Web? If you are using Frontpage then you may just have to purchase the upgrade, which would be cheaper than getting Dreamweaver. I upgraded a year or so ago and it's not that difficult to produce good clean CSS based websites with just a little practice. The layout is similar to Frontpage, but it's definitely a better webpage editor. Whether it's as good as Dreamweaver, I don't know. Some say it is and some don't. Plus there are plenty of tutorials available on how to use EW, most are free so you'll soon be up and running. Good luck with your choice. Chris W |

Dreamweaver by far is the best. Definitely not the easiest though. your hosting company should have some good ones that are built in, or you could use wordpress as that's easy and pretty all inclusive of what most people need.
