Hey guys take a look I recently launched my new site.

    Looks good, but there are several things I would change.

    1.

    When checking your theme in Test responsive design » responsivedesigntest.net I saw that the navigation menu is not collapsing, it uses too much space. everything becomes unreadable.

    2.

    Twitter timeline gives back a 404 error:

    http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/us...8105=cachebust

    3.

    119 http requests (1.9MegaByte) and 4.48s loading time (from Spain) is just too much.
    There are pictures that are, when downloaded to the browser, 300x300 pixels but resized via CSS to 109x109

    If you would fix that on all images you could save up to 88.9KiloBytes only with this task.

    Minifying JS could save you 14.2KiloByte, activating compression would save another 122.7KiloBytes...

    This could mean that if only 50 users from Germany would access your website at the same time (from the same town/network) your server would get into trouble and a lot of users...

    a. had to wait up to 33 seconds
    b. would see a blank page

    No browser caching is used, no compressing is used, no pictures are scaled (they are, but via CSS) and you have 404 errors...

    It sounds arrogant but I could help you with fixing these "things"...

    What you could improve is to cloak your affiliate links - you can use the "Pretty Link Lite" WP plugin for that.

        The site looks great and your first, second, and third tuts were very helpful and informative, but four and five seemed to go downhill a bit. I'm not sure "Play around with the options and customisations" is particularly helpful to a newb.

        Graphically it looks great tho. Nice job overall. Good luck!
