How Do I Recreate This Website Using Wordpress?

I have a client who's looking to use Wordpress.com to create an exact copy their website (image attached) which was originally built in Javascript to be recreated in Wordpress. I browsed through a couple of themes and while similar are not the same. It would be a very easy job for me if they were a bit flexible on how the site looks on Wordpress but I'm not sure if it's quite possible to get an exact copy.

Any Wordpress developers know if this is possible?

If you know HTML and CSS, and most importantly the Wordpress Codex, then converting this site will be a piece of cake.

However if you do not know any one of the above, it would probably take you days or maybe months to figure it out how to do it. This forum is definitely not the medium to explain you how exactly it would be done.

    No. It's not possible.

WordPress.com does not allow outside themes, nor do they allow commercial activity.

And as far as building an 'exact copy' goes, there ARE those pesky copyright limitations to contend with.

Building a WP theme that mimics your screenshot would be a piece of cake.

That screenshot in OP is a very basic site, bunch of copy/pasting existing HTML into WP template files.

Beyond that, the site you reference wasn't 'originally built in Javascript', it is in Flash.

Get the photo and the heading graphic and you could create it using Artisteer (wp theme creator) pretty easily.

      Or try Fi....

Thanks for all the advice guys!

Meant to say Flash, which is hard to get code from. Thankfully all the images, text and links are pretty easy to copy and paste.

They're hosting the site using GoDaddy and while I work with Wordpress directly usually, I think they can upgrade their plan to include install WP via GoDaddy. At least I'm told so.

If you claim to be a WP pro, never ever use any "automatic" shit installer for WP... Learn to install it manually!

And run away from GD if you want WP to work properly on that domain! Don't use WP on GD.

Converting that design over to a custom wordpress template will be very easy. Post your job on elance or odesk and somebody can get it done for $100. Show them the site and they'll make a custom wordpress theme for you so that it looks exactly the same.
