Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can clear a problem up for me that I'm confused about.

In the silo structure,
should all articles link to each other?
Should they only link back to the silo landing page?
or both?

In any of these pages whether article or landing page is it OK to have a link to the main website page?

Thanks guys.

    Also!

I want to link out whenever I have a reference because I know google likes this. Should I just nofollow those links or does that upset google?

Go in the SEO section of the forum, Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum
and look for a member named Yukon. Seems to know a lot about Silo Structures and how to properly do them.

I would say, make your silos link back to the landing page honestly, because that is exactly what we do. However, if you are also using wordpress I highly recommend using a plugin called SEO by Yoast, SUPERB plugin to help you garnish your webpage for SEO : )

    Thanks for the replies guys.
I'm trying out hand coding this website instead of using wordpress, I've heard good things about pure html sites vs wordpress and I just want to see if it's true.

About the articles at the bottom tier. Do they have to link to one another like a daisy chain or can you just put a navigation at the bottom of the article linking to the other 9 (assuming i go with 10 articles per category page)?
