What to do about pages which I do not want to get indexed

What to do about pages (such as Privacy Policy, Contact, Disclosures, etc.) which I do not want to get indexed.

I have an idea to use rbt.text file for this purpose. But my problem is that I do not know the exact steps / procedure.

    yukon got it right. You can also just google on how to tell the robot file not to index certain pages

    Alternatively, if you've installed SEO plugin, it also have the ability to noindex on the page that you don't want to SE to index.
